MEADOWLAKES — The Marble Falls High School girls golf program divided into two teams for its own Spring Classic at Hidden Falls Country Club on Feb. 1 and Slick Rock golf course at Horseshoe Bay Resort on Feb. 2.

Amy Hendrix was the highest finisher for the Lady Mustangs, tying for 18th overall followed by Shelcee Clark, who came in 25th.

Hendrix, Chloe Parnell, Sam Offutt, Kelsie Tackitt and Peyton Wooten each shot new personal bests.

“Amy had a very good tournament to lead the team in her first tournament of the year,” Lady Mustangs head coach Lonnie Tackitt said. “Shelcee also had a great first tournament.”

This event was the program’s first in two months.

“We had a lot of bright spots, but we have lots to work on,” Tackitt said.
