Burnet boys beat Brownwood to stay perfect in district
BROWNWOOD — The Burnet High School boys basketball team broke open a close game against Brownwood in the second quarter, giving the Bulldogs a 56-32 victory Jan. 22.
The win keeps Burnet atop the District 8-3A standings.
Leading 8-6 after the first period, the Bulldogs outscored the Lions 16-10 in the second quarter for a 24-16 lead at the half. That lead went to 48-24 by the end of the third quarter.
