Investigation continues into rollover involving Marble Falls teens

MARBLE FALLS — Department of Public Safety troopers are investigating a truck rollover involving six teenagers that occurred northeast of the city Jan. 20.
The crash of a 2002 F150 pickup happened about 5:30 p.m. less than a mile northeast of the Marble Falls city limits on CR 340. The street is called Mormon Mill Road in Marble Falls.
At least five of the teens are Marble Falls High School students between the ages of 15 and 18, officials said.
Three females and two males are ages 15 and 16, according to the report. The driver of the pickup is an 18-year-old male, officials said.
“We’re investigating the cause of the crash and determining the factors,” DPS Trooper Joseph Vangundy said.
Two of the occupants were airlifted to Austin medical facilities. Three were taken by ambulance to area emergency rooms, the trooper said.
The names were not released, pending the outcome of the investigation.
