Bulldogs hold Lampasas to 5 points in first half of Burnet win
BURNET — Only allowing five points in 16 minutes of play propelled the Burnet High School boys basketball team to a 50-28 victory against Lampasas on Jan. 18.
The strong defensive performance by Burnet happened in the first half, while the Bulldogs dropped in 18 points. Burnet went on to equal that point total in the final period of play.
Burnet also was 29-of-42 for 69 percent shooting from the foul line.
