Carmen Camille Taylor

Carmen Camille Taylor, 82, of Kingsland went to be with the Lord on Jan. 14, 2013. She was born to William Marion and Eula Beatrice (Brandon) Fowler in Dallas on Oct. 27, 1930.
She married Herman Taylor in San Angelo on Jan. 24, 1948.
Carmen was a licensed vocational nurse. She and her family lived in Bertram for many years. She moved to Kingsland in 2000.
She was a member of the Highland Lakes Church of Christ of Kingsland and the Ladies Bible Class. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crossword puzzles, gardening, canning and making jellies.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Taylor of Kingsland; sons, Brian Taylor and wife Barbara of Melbourne, Ark., and William “Billy” Taylor and wife Wanda of Alton, Mo.; daughters, Joyce Taylor of Flower Mound and Sherry Wills and husband Ken Love of Kingsland; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 31 nieces and nephews; brother, William M. Fowler II of Forney; and sister Carolyn Van den Bouch of Dearborn, Mich.
Carmen was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Billie Jean Renneberg, Era Myers and Delores Wilson.
A visitation is 5-7 p.m. Jan. 17 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008. A service is 2 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Highland Lakes Church of Christ in Kingsland with Joe Winnett and Tim Denton officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery in Bertram.
