Marble Falls Elementary School librarian Andrea Bielefeld, aka ‘Mrs. B.’ reads Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” during her retirement book fair Dec. 21. After 31 years in education with the past seven at MFES, Bielefeld retired with the beginning of the school’s Christmas holiday. But before turning in her library card, Mrs. B. began setting up an eBook center in the Marble Falls Elementary library. Then she helped organize the Scholastic Book Fair Dec. 17-21 along with a visit by Santa Claus on Dec. 21 to help raise funds for the center. ‘I have always worked hard to pass on my love of reading to all of my students and to motivate them to enrich their lives forever with the love of reading,” she said.
