Burnet, Llano counties holding livestock shows Jan. 10-12
BURNET — Both the Burnet County and Llano County livestock shows are Jan. 10-12.
The barn opens at 10 a.m. Jan. 10 with an opening ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at the 46th annual Burnet County Livestock Show at the Burnet County Fairgrounds, 1301 Houston Clinton Drive. A buyers lunch is 11 a.m. Jan. 12 with an awards ceremony at 12:30 p.m. and the premium sale at 1 p.m. The show also includes a creative meats contest and bake show with judging at 8:15 a.m. Jan. 12.

The Llano County Junior Livestock Show will take place at the Llano County Community Center, 2249 RR 152 in Llano. The event includes arts, crafts and food shows.
A barbecue lunch is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 11 with proceeds benefiting the Llano 4-H Council. The premium sale is 6 p.m. Jan. 12 with a buyers mixer at 5 p.m. at Oestreich’s Rose, 106 E. Hamilton St. in Llano.
