Evelyn Sarah Gage
Evelyn Sarah Gage, 93, of Llano passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012. She was born April 4, 1919, to Minnie Lea (Moore) and Frank Arnold in Strawberry Plains, Tenn. She was married to Samuel Gage.
Evelyn had been a resident of Llano since 1974 coming from North Hollywood, Calif.. She was a past member of the Tow Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Tow quilting club and the Llano County Home Demonstration Club. Evelyn enjoyed her family and friends.
Survivors include daughter Martha Pantano and husband Frank of Tow; sons Robert Gage and Donald Gage, both of California; brother George Arnold of Santa Monica, Calif.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, a sister and a grandson.
A funeral service is 11 a.m. Nov. 24 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300, with the Rev. Jerald Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Tow Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Randy Morgan, Rick Morgan, Jack Henderson, Nathan Garrett, Lance Garrett and Robert Green.
