QUOTABLE: “Despite the loss, the Mustangs did some good things on both sides of the ball and continue to improve each week,” Marble Falls coach Joel Herring said.

GATESVILLE — The Bulldogs scored early and often in the Oct. 18 contest against Gatesville.

“The offense for the first time this year showed that they were ready to move the football for the whole game as they started their first offensive series,” Burnet coach Randall Alford said.

LAMPASAS — The Daubers couldn’t overcome two early turnovers — a fumble and an interception — against Lampasas on Oct. 18, and both were returned for touchdowns.

The Badgers scored an offensive touchdown for a 22-0 lead at the half.

TOP PLAYER: Shawn Kiser, 9-yard touchdown

ON OFFENSE: Luis Coronado-Ocon, Ian Fletcher and Harry Keil.

RECORD: Llano 7th Black is 4-1 overall and 1-1 in district.
