Flames open district with shutout win

MARBLE FALLS — It was one yard early in the second quarter that gave Faith Academy the confidence to turn a slight lead into a memorable 37-0 win Oct. 12 at Pony Stadium.

“That completely changed everything for us,” Faith linebacker and running back Jason Byrd said. “We went from a questionable 6-0 lead to a 22-0 lead probably because of that one stand.”
