MARBLE FALLS — Marble Falls High School opened the Oct. 5 district-opener like the team expected to put up a big score, but failed to keep up with a stronger, more physical Cedar Park High School team in a 49-21 loss.

The Mustangs drove 88 yards on the game’s first possession for a 7-0 lead behind a 19-yard pass from quarterback Mike Richardson to Garrett Gray. Richardson threw for 90 yards and Gray caught four passes in the drive for 58 yards.
