MARBLE FALLS — Prior to the game Sept. 20 at Boerne Champion, Marble Falls High School head football coach Todd Dodge said he was told the Mustangs don’t play well on Thursdays.

After all, the last time Marble Falls lost on a Thursday was to Champion 31-7 in 2010.

So to Dodge, beating the Chargers this time was about more than winning a football game — it was about changing a mindset.
