Isabel G. Archer
Isabel G. Archer, 90, of Kingsland died Aug. 19, 2012. She was born Sept. 13, 1921, to Edward and Margaret (Heyman) Lamm.
She married John Wilson Archer on July 9, 1945, in San Antonio.
She had been a resident of Bluffton and Kingsland since 1979 after moving from San Antonio. She loved playing cards and taking care of her family.
Survivors include grandchildren Polly Isenberger and husband Billy Joe of Llano and Mike Merrell and wife Carol of Kingsland; great-grandchildren Katie, Tiffany, Natasha, Dennis, Tashawna and Sheree; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 14, 1997; her parents; son Johnny Archer; and daughter Jan Bailey in 2009.
Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Aug. 22 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767. A graveside service is 10 a.m. Aug. 23 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet with the Rev. Jeff Davis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels organization.
