Clemis Henry Love, 89, of Burnet died June 27, 2012. He was born in Huntsville on Jan. 30, 1923, to Mid and Erma Doughtie Love.
He served in the Air Force during World War II. He later worked for Goodyear Chemical Co. for many years. After retirement, he enjoyed working with the Camp Longhorn family for 20 more years.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and, most of all, a Christian.
He was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Burnet and also served in the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include wife Mildred B. Love; son Michael L. Love; brothers James M. Love and Gary W. Love; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Mid L. Love, Tommy G. Love and Erma Dell Taylor; sons Richard L. Love and Donald M. Love; and granddaughter Bethany Love.
A service is 1 p.m. June 29 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.
Pallbearers include members of the Knights of Columbus.
