Floriene Collins-Hood
Floriene Collins-Hood, 97, of Horseshoe Bay died June 19, 2012. She was born in San Antonio on July 6, 1915.
She was a longtime resident of the Oak Ridge community and a lifetime member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls.
She was a friend to everyone she met and always helped those in need with an offer of kindness and friendship. She will be missed by all who knew her and were touched by her.
Survivors include sons Paul M. Collins and wife Becky and Patrick G. Collins and wife Helen; grandchildren Clinton Collins, Lynette Collins-Johnson, Patrick Collins, Christopher Collins, Craig Collins and Kendra Collins-Heusinkveld; great-grandchildren Ashley Doonan, Miranda Holliday and Campbell Heusinkveld; and great-great-grandchildren Jaiden Doonan, Amberly Holliday and Faith Holliday.
She was preceded in death by first husband Paul B. Collins; son Steven F. Collins; and second husband Paul Hood.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. June 23 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
