Hazel Fayrene Woodley
Hazel Fayrene Woodley, 87, of Buchanan Dam died June 3, 2012. She was born in Byars, Okla., on Feb. 15, 1925, to John Hugo and Rilla (Gasaway) Woodley.
She was a bookkeeper for the family business for many years as well as being a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, sewing, baking and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Benjamin David Woodley of Buchanan Dam; daughters SuzAnn Cummins and companion Wesley Williams of Kingsland and Lynni Melvin-DeVille and husband William Melvin of Horseshoe Bay; grandson Jeremiah Jon Tomlinson of Aurora, Colo.; sisters Jo Skaggs and Pat Whitfield, both of Purcell, Okla.; and her dog Hotrod.
A memorial service is 11:30 a.m. June 9 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008.
