Joe Edd “Joey” Biggerstaff, 62, of Marble Falls died May 16, 2012, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born Jan. 12, 1950, in Levelland to Joe Bob and Doris Biggerstaff.
He was a machinist in the oil-field industry and was very active in the Boy Scouts, Explorer Scouts and varsity, and was on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
He and wife Nancy married Aug. 29, 1967, in Brownwood.
In addition to his wife of 44 years, survivors include daughter Jeanette Soefje and husband Garry of Leesville; son Joel Biggerstaff and wife Robin of Marble Falls; grandchildren Autumn and Jimmy Biggerstaff, and Jimmy, Greg and Amy Soefje; his mother of Kingsland; brother Jimmy Jackson of Nice, Calif.; uncle Red Flenniken and aunt Cly; brother-in-law Don Meekins and wife Peggy of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and lifelong friend Harry Bizzell of Kingsland.

A visitation is 6-8 p.m. May 18 at Edgar Funeral Home, 2105 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808.
A funeral service is 10 a.m. May 19 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 2702 Mormon Mill Road in Marble Falls with Mike Mueller officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.
Pallbearers include Bruce Koch, Mike Alvarez, Steven Espinoza, Matt Markovich, John Schneeman and Dave Torsiello.
Honorary pallbearers are Harry Bizzell, Aubrey Mueller, Red Myers, David Crail and Neal Lalman.
