Erline Jewell Batson
Erline Jewell Batson, 100, of Burnet died May 13, 2012. She was born in Barstow on July 17, 1911, to Bill and Cannie Stovall Goode.
She lived in the Burnet area since the early 1970s. She enjoyed visiting nursing homes, long walks and roses and volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years.
Survivors include nephews Jim Batson and wife Kay of Georgetown and Jerry Batson and wife Pauline of Kilgore; niece Debra Ashworth and husband Tom of Marble Falls; and other nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Marion; sister Faye Fisher; and brothers Aaron and Warren Goode.
