Burnet football looks to keep up winning ways in 7-on-7

BURNET — Keeping up the winning tradition of Burnet High School football is a commitment that extends beyond the fall.

Each spring, the Bulldogs assemble 7-on-7 teams with the aim of going to College Station in July for a shot at winning a state title.

That journey begins May 3 when Burnet travels to Georgetown for an evening of 7-on-7 against Georgetown Eastview, the newest high school in the city.
