Llano picks football coordinators familiar with head coach, system
LLANO — Llano High School head football coach and athletic director Craig Slaughter announced the hires of offensive and defensive coordinators, pending school board approval.
Jarrett Vickers will take over at offensive coordinator, while Clint Easley will be the defensive coordinator.
Slaughter chose coordinators who have spent years working with him.
Easley was with the Slaughter for six years, while Vickers was with him for about seven years.
All three were at Sweetwater and at Clyde.
“They’re great guys who do it like I like it done,” Slaughter said. “Our kids are friends, our families are friends.”
The school board meets 6 p.m. April 23 in a regular meeting in the O. Henry Building board room, 1502 Oatman St.
