MARBLE FALLS — During its trek through District 25-4A, the Marble Falls High School softball team has been simply brilliant.

The Lady Mustangs (12-5, 3-0) haven’t been making mistakes on offense or defense. They’ve been bringing home runners in scoring position. And they haven’t been giving up free bases.

But against old nemesis Lampasas in a non-district matchup March 15, all of that was out of the park, with the Lady Mustangs losing 2-1.
