Faith Academy football player selected to all-state team
MARBLE FALLS — Faith Academy senior football player Peter Perkins was named to the all-state team for the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools.
In addition, he will have a chance to participate in the all-star football game, Flames head coach Russ Roberts said.
As a two-year starter, Perkins recorded 176 tackles. In 2011, he had 78 tackles and two interceptions.
Perkins was a member of the 2010 4×100-meter relay team that qualified for the state meet. He also competed at the state golf tournament.
