Burnet’s Demone Belmarez commits to play football for Kentucky Christian

BURNET — A visit to Kentucky Christian University two weeks ago confirmed to Burnet High School senior running back Demone Belmarez that he found his home for the next four years.

He committed to the football program before he returned to Burnet to make it official at a signing ceremony Feb. 29.

Belmarez, who moved to Burnet two years ago, said he looks forward to playing for Kentucky Christian, a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
