Verna Lee Wallace, 85, of Marble Falls died Feb. 22, 2012. She was born in Spicewood on July 24, 1926, to Irwin and Sadie Belle (DeSpain) Naumann.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, having worshipped with the Austin University Hills Church and Marble Falls Church of Christ.

After graduating from high school in 1943, she moved to Austin. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. as a telephone operator.

Survivors include brothers Halton Ray Naumann and wife Evelyn of Spicewood and Carlos Ray Naumann and wife Shirley of Marble Falls; sister-in-law Faye Naumann of Spicewood; and stepchildren Linda Ledger and Eddie Wallace.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Vernon Wallace; and brother Elmo Warren Naumann.

A visitation is 9 a.m. Feb. 25 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. A service will follow at 10 a.m. with Todd Lewis officiating. Interment is at Haynie Flat Cemetery.

Pallbearers include David Warren Naumann, Donald Ray Naumann, Damon Lynn Naumann, Darrell Lynn Naumann, Dale Allen Naumann, Mark Landon Naumann, Kenneth Ray Naumann and Dana Naumann.
