Mary Evelyn Bondurant
Mary Evelyn Bondurant, 76, of Kingsland died Jan. 31, 2012. She was born in Los Fresnos on Nov. 7, 1935, to Joe Sr. and Agnes (Morris) Moore.
She was a member of the Highland Lakes Church of Christ in Kingsland and the Texas Riverside Church of Christ in Calallen. She worked for Calallen Independent School District for 20 years as a custodial supervisor.
She was loving and generous by nature. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, crafting, traveling, shopping and saltwater fishing.
Survivors include daughters Jenniffer Ziegler and husband Robert of Old San Patricio and Gloria Bondurant of Canton; grandchildren Shanna Lea McCreary and husband Ken of Houston and Venda Jo Peterson of Austin; great-grandchildren Mahgan Mae McCreary and Ashlynn Veronica Lea McCreary; sisters Mary Smith of Kingsland and Joanne Grumbles and husband Marcus of Austin; brothers Joe D. Moore Jr. of Corpus Christi and Billy Joe Moore and wife JoAnn of Pleasanton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband James Richard; brother Bobby Joe Moore; daughter Jammie Lynn Bondurant; and great-grandchildren Caleb Reece and Serenity Ann McCreary.
A special celebration will take place at a later date.
