Lady Stangs counting on strong arms for long season
MARBLE FALLS — A talented quartet of pitchers will be counted on to lead the Marble Falls High School softball team back to the playoffs where the Lady Mustangs have been six of the past seven seasons.
Sophomore Amanda Thomas and junior Alicia Macias split time in the circle with sophomores Skylar Riley and Tyler Oppenheim.
“During scrimmages, we’ll try to get at least three of them some quality innings,” head coach Tino Salazar said. “Two of the top pitchers have varsity experience from last year. It’s going to be good to see them against other teams.”
