Ruby Ellen Shrubar
Ruby Ellen Shrubar, 79, of Kingsland died Jan. 17, 2012. She was born in Deanville on Aug. 9, 1932, to Alfred and Lena Zwernemann Dancak.
She married Louis Shrubar on Dec. 15, 1950, in Caldwell.
She was a homemaker, a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Marble Falls and a member of the quilting club at the church.
Survivors include daughters Susan Borman and husband Dale of Crescent Spring, Ky., and Danene Shrubar of Marble Falls; son David Shrubar of Kingsland; grandchildren Melissa Coldwater and husband Abe, Michelle Marshall and husband Tim, Jordan, Brianna and Brian Shrubar and Michelle Borman; great-grandchildren Aubry and Madison Marshall and Elijah and Zack Coldwater; brother Aldon Dancak and wife Helen of Austin; sister-in-law LaVerne Dancak of Austin; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
A memorial service is 10 a.m. Jan. 21 at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 1803 RR 1431 West in Marble Falls, with the Rev. Danielle Casey officiating. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
