Barbara Miles Ochandarena
Barbara Miles Ochandarena, 61, died Jan. 15, 2012, in Meadowlakes.
She was born Feb. 9, 1950.
She was an Air Force veteran. She was an avid bridge player and made many wonderful friends across the table. She also had a lifelong love of books and libraries. She was past president of the Westbank Community Library, worked part-time in the Rockwall County Library and was on the board of the Friends of the Marble Falls Public Library.
Survivors include husband Doug; son William and daughter-in-law Kathy of San Jose, Calif.; her mother Else Miles of San Antonio; brothers Wilson Miles of Savannah, Ga., and Richard Miles of Huntsville, Ala.
The family from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 28 will receive friends to share drinks and memories at 313 Mahan St. in Meadowlakes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to a local library.
