Rebecca ‘Becky’ Diane Whittenburg
Rebecca “Becky” Diane Whittenburg, 50, of Cottonwood Shores died Dec. 8, 2011. Born Dec. 9, 1960, in Temple, she was the daughter of Darrell Cobb and Joan Marshall.
She went to high school in Brownfield and married Steven Willis just out of high school. They were married about eight years. In 1990, she met Jim Whittenburg and they wed five years later.
She worked as a food and beverage manager for several years before she started doing residential and commercial cleaning with her sister.
For the last 10 years she worked for Marv and Linda Finn as a caregiver. She loved them like they were family and often referred to them as her “other” parents.
She was a lot of fun and she loved the beach. Her family and friends were very important to her and she loved them very much. She had a good heart and she lived to be the best person she could be.
Her strength is an inspiration and she has touched many lives. She fought with all her heart, never giving up hope. She is loved and missed by many.
