Pony football teams come away with win, two losses
Hill Country 12, Marble Falls 7th C 6
AUSTIN — The Ponies committed numerous turnovers that allowed Hill Country to take a 12-0 lead including a fumble that was returned 95 yards for a touchdown. Pony quarterback Kameron Ellenberger scored on a 3-yard run. But Marble Falls was unable to recover an onside kick, allowing Hill Country to run out the clock.

Hudson Bend 33, Marble Falls 8th B 0
AUSTIN — The Ponies fell to Hudson Bend 33-0 on Oct. 11.
Coach Mickey Hughes said Brandon Montez “played great on defense with several big hits on the running back.”

Marble Falls 7th C 12, Hudson Bend 6
MARBLE FALLS — Fullback Billy Herrera completed the opening Pony drive by scoring on a 55-yard touchdown. Tailback Taylor Marshall added the other touchdown, scoring from 15 yards out to take a 12-0 lead. The Bucs scored late in the game.
