The Bullpups won their third game of the season thanks to a 20-yard scramble by Trenton Rockafellow off a bad snap for a touchdown. Jason Gresham added the other touchdown when he ran in from 25 yards.

TOP PLAYER: Jose Martinez added the two-point run.

After a scoreless first half, Christian Cromer scored on a reverse from 33 yards out and added a 12-yard touchdown and a two-point conversion for the win.

Costly penalties resulted in the Bullpups’ loss to the Badgers in district play Oct. 6, coaches said.

TOP PLAYERS: Coleman Posey scored Burnet’s only touchdown, while Kyle Cavender added the two-point conversion.

SAY WHAT? “The guys played very hard and came up with some big stops that gave us a chance to get in the ball game, but we fell just short,” coach Tim Hulon said.

Joel Holland scored the Bullpups’ only touchdown in the first half from 6 yards out and the defense stopped a two-point attempt to preserve a win against the Badgers on Oct. 6.
