MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls Middle School seventh-grade A football team recently lost to Hill Country 35-28.

TOP PLAYERS: Marble Falls running back Davin Manning had touchdown runs of 4, 8, 6 and 39 yards; Cade Cool kicked two extra points.

ON DEFENSE: Outstanding players were linemen Michael Hall, Roman Ruiz and Ryan Dewey; linebackers Preston Richardson, who recorded a sack, Manning, Elijah Duffer, Jon Bryer and Cool; and defensive backs James Garrison, Sam Harkins, with an interception, Weston Shultz and Bo McCasland.

ON OFFENSE: Outstanding players were quarterbacks Cool and Heath Dooley; running backs Manning and Shultz; and linemen Aaron Kohutek, Ruiz, Bryer, Jon Winn, Dawson Atwood and Hall.

UP NEXT: Hudson Bend at 6 p.m. Oct. 10 at Pony Stadium, 1511 Pony Circle Drive in Marble Falls.
