MARBLE FALLS — Back in the hunt. That describes the Marble Falls High School football team’s 21-6 win against Leander Rouse during the homecoming game Friday.

The victory snapped a two-game losing skid, but most importantly, it meant the Mustangs (3-3, 1-1) are back in the playoff race headed into their bye week.

“These guys time and again stepped up and proved their worth,” senior quarterback Zed Woerner said. “We’ll see how we can battle, we’ll see how we finish.”
