G. Louise Flood
G. Louise Flood, 81, of Marble Falls died Sept. 26, 2011. She was born in Austin on Feb. 18, 1930, to Marvin and Dossie Haller Vasterling.
She worked as a church secretary for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Garnett, Kan., taught Sunday school and attended the Church of Christ in Tow. She also was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening.
She married George Flood on Jan. 13, 1956.
Along with her husband, survivors include sons Rick Flood of Marble Falls and Daniel and wife Diana Flood of Horseheads, N.Y.; grandchildren Jason Flood of Marble Falls, Jessica Flood of Houston and Franklin and wife Tyla Flood of Horseheads, N.Y.; great-grandson Darren Flood; brother Leslie E. Vasterling Sr. of Austin; and nephews.
A visitation is 4-7 p.m. Sept. 29 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008.
A service is 11 a.m. Sept. 30 at the funeral home.
