Donna J. McClellan
Donna J. McClellan, 67, of Michigan and formerly of Twin Isles, died Sept. 14, 2011. She was born May 27, 1944, to Virginia Latimer Graybeal and Harold Dale Latimer. Her adoptive father is John Wesley Graybeal.
She worked at the Pardner’s Chevron in Marble Falls for many years.
She lived in Michigan until 1980 when she moved her sons to Texas. She developed many lasting friendships while she was in the Lone Star State.
She will be remembered by her employers as a respected, dependable and trustworthy employee. Her customers at the restaurant and gas mart in Texas loved her and will remember her as the person who made “the best chicken salad and tacos” in the county.
Family and friends recall her as a sincere and fun-loving person who was always interested in what they were doing. She especially loved the visits and phone conversations she had with loved ones and their encouragement and support during her most difficult times.
Survivors include sons James Grover and wife Kathy and Larry Grover; siblings Carolyn, Dorothy, Harold, David, John, Bonnie, Warren and Sue.
She was preceded in death by her siblings including twin sister Delores at 4 and Judy.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Highland, Mich.
