Cauble’s timing slows down foes
MARBLE FALLS — Marble Falls High School senior football player Taylor Cauble has a rule, which can be annoying for some people.
"I like staying on time," he said. "I’m always on time, always showing up where I need to be."
That habit especially annoys opponents. As a safety, Cauble was where he needed to be to make tackles, knock the ball away or send a statement.
"People don’t know you’re right there," he said. "That’s my favorite part, knocking someone off their feet."
As the fullback this season, Cauble hits the holes and the edge quickly to avoid defenders.
His work ethic is unquestioned. Because he’s usually early, the Mustang is ready for practice, conditioning and weight training long before some of his teammates are in the locker room.
And that means he’s also already taken a shower before practice or a game.
