Paul Joseph Lewis
Paul Joseph Lewis, 96, of Kingsland died Sept. 3, 2011. He was born in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on April 5, 1915.
He worked as an accountant with the Armour Meat packing company in Alexandria, La., and San Antonio. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Kingsland since 1980. He enjoyed country and big band music, played the saxophone, loved dancing and was a semi-professional baseball player.
Survivors include son Fred Lewis and wife Kathy of Kingsland; granddaughter-in-law Shelly Lewis; and great-grandchildren Chase, Chelsea, Reis and Ryan Lewis, all of Dripping Springs and formerly of Marble Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Marjorie Louise Lewis in 1990; and grandson Bill Lewis in 2009.
A graveside service is 11 a.m. Sept. 8 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 4219 Park Road 4 South in Burnet, with Bill Carico officiating.
