Dorothy Evelyn Warren, 95, of Llano died Aug. 30, 2011.  She was born March 2, 1916, to Henry Thrower and Myrtle (Warren) Thrower in Mart.

She married Albert Warren on July 28, 1930, in Pulaski County, Ark.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a cosmetician and also worked as an apartment property manager for many years.

She had lived in Llano since 2008, and was a former resident of Tyler and Houston.

Survivors include her daughter Louise Downs and husband Thomas of Llano; sons Leland Warren of Manvel and Clifton Warren of Llano; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988; daughters Leta Katherine in 1931, Caroline May in 1945 and Janice Warren in 1999; sister Elizabeth Warren; and brother Jimmy Thrower.

A funeral service was Sept. 1 at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel in Llano with Bishop Fred DeBusk officiating.

Burial followed at Llano City Cemetery.

Pallbearers include grandsons Casey Walker, David George, Robert George, Edward Sandlin and great-grandsons Steven Walker, Greg Warren and Rex Warren.

Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or Llano Hospice.
