LJHS football players can get equipment Aug. 19
LLANO — Llano Junior High School football players can pick up equipment for the 2011 season Aug. 19.
Eighth-graders should go to the coaches’ offices at 1 p.m., while seventh-graders can stop by at 2:30 p.m. The pickup will end at 4 p.m.
Equipment such as helmets, shoulder pads, cleats and cloth goods will be issued from the Llano Junior High football locker rooms at Llano Jacket Stadium, 400 Texas 71 East.
If student-athletes are unable to attend, they will have to wait until the first day of school.
Incoming seventh-graders who missed physicals in May will need to make their own arrangements for one at the player’s expense.
Players should bring all paperwork Aug. 19 or on the first day of school. Student-athletes can not participate until the physical, medical history, acknowledgement of rules, athletic code and other required papers are on file at the school.
The first day of practice is Aug. 22, the first day of school. Afterschool practices will end at 5:30 p.m
