Mary Alice Fox, 86, of Burnet died June 11, 2011.

She was a long-time resident of El Paso, where her greatest joys involved being a loving wife, mother and friend. She frequently sewed for others, visited the sick, cheered those around her, and fervently prayed for all. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughters Fran Fox of El Paso and Linda Caldwell of Burnet; son-in-law Gary Caldwell of Burnet; grandson Lee Land and wife Diane of Carterville, Ill.; granddaughter Kelly Ketner and husband Tracey of Independence, Kan.; grandson Jacob Caldwell and wife Eileen of Roswell, N.M.; and great-grandchildren Shelby and Troy Land, Jillian Ketner and Jacie Caldwell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Fox.

A service will be held in El Paso; private interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Burnet Presbyterian Church, 101 S. Pierce St. in Burnet, or St. Luke United Methodist Church, 9915 Montwood, El Paso, TX 79925.
