Donald Lee Pope
Donald Pope, 68, of Llano died May 31, 2011, at his residence. He was born in San Jose, Calif., on Nov. 20, 1942, to Archie and Florence (Ellington) Pope.
He was a beloved father and grandfather.
A veteran of the Army, he worked in construction as a framer after the war.
Survivors include his brother Chris Pope of Pasadena; daughter Tina Morgan and husband Ricky of Tow; grandchildren Dustin Polk and Angela Menchaca; and great-grandchildren David Chester Meier, Jeston Burton, Brandon Menchaca, Meghan Menchaca and Bodie Menchaca.
A service is 11 a.m. June 3 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.
