Mary Sue McSweeney, 62, of Granite Shoals died April 28, 2011. Born October 7, 1948, in Tyler, she was the daughter of Herman and Mary Lou (Velselka) Bowers.

She was a faithful servant of God and Father Jehovah for 39 years. She loved people and wanted to help anyone she could.

She leaves behind a multitude of friends who love her very much. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Survivors include husband Robert L. McSweeney of Granite Shoals; daughter Lori Leroux and husband Mike of Frisco; sons Robert McSweeney and wife Debra of San Antonio, Aaron McSweeney of London and Gary McSweeney of Granite Shoals; grandchildren Brandon Krause, Austin Krause, Ashley Selstad, Aaron McSweeney Jr., Samuel McSweeney and Royce McSweeney; and sisters Wanda Butler and husband William of Brandon, Miss., and Sharon Moddle and husband Greg of Marble Falls.

A memorial service is 2 p.m. May 7 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1607 Mormon Mill Road in Marble Falls with Elder Jesse Constancio officiating.
