Warren Moran Jr.
Warren Moran Jr., 59, of Eugene, Ore., and formerly of Spicewood, died March 27 in a boating accident.
He was born July 11, 1951, in Augusta, Ga., to Warren and Sally Holt Moran.
He married Martha “Marty” McCurdy on March 7, 1981, in Scarsdale, N.Y.
He attended Brevard College in North Carolina and graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1975.
He was a consultant who specialized in mobile video, most recently with the Winegard Co.
In addition to his wife survivors include his parents; sons Elliot of Denver and John of Chicago; daughter Erin of Madison, Wis.; brother Holt of Aiken, S.C.; and sister Elinor Zito of York, Penn.
A burial Mass was celebrated April 2 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Eugene.
