Vickie Lynn (Fisher) Wendel, 52, of Cherokee died March 1, 2011. She was born March 29, 1958, in Burnet to R.L. and Barbara Fisher. 

She was a graduate of Marble Falls High School. She was a hairstylist in Marble Falls and Kingsland for many years before she moved to Cherokee. She recently opened the West End Boutique in Llano and enjoyed being a small-business owner in the community she loved. In addition to the boutique, she was the world’s greatest “Gigi” to her two grandchildren and was a loving mother and wife.

Survivors include husband Carroll Wendel of Cherokee; daughter and son-in-law Holli and Stephen Pringle of Lubbock; son and daughter-in-law Justin and Kelli Ebeling of Weatherford; grandson Zane Pringle; granddaughter Mina Pringle of Lubbock; sister and brother-in-law Nickie and Brett Coughran; her parents; and niece and nephews Roi Ann and Tony Beseda, and Meritt Coughran, all of Marble Falls. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and two brothers.
