Thelma Jo Fraser
Thelma Jo Fraser, 82, of Gateway Gardens of Marble Falls, died Dec. 28, 2010. Born July 4, 1928, in Dallas, she was the daughter of George Warren Hudson and Dixie Lou Northam Hudson.
On July 7, 1945, she married Harold Lloyd Fraser in Baird.
She was a longtime resident of Coahoma and a past member of Coahoma Baptist Church. She was a member of Wylie Baptist Church in Wylie.
She loved her family and was a loving and faithful wife for 50 years. She loved the Lord, her church and singing in the choir.
In addition to singing, her hobbies included painting, gardening and cooking.
Survivors include children Dwayne and Kay Fraser of Stephenville, state Sen. Troy and Linda Fraser of Horseshoe Bay, and Steve and Karen Fraser of Kingsland; grandchildren Carey and Julie Fraser of Stephenville, Chase and Tina Fraser of Boulder, Colo., Sunny and Craig Knocke of Dallas, Andrew and Taylor Fraser, both of Austin, Matthew Fraser of Chicago, and Lauren and Blair Nutting of Irving; great-grandchildren Caryss Fraser of Stephenville, Chloe Fraser and Quinn Fraser of Boulder, and Davis Knocke and Conner Knocke of Dallas; sisters Judy Burrow of Sweetwater and Melba Hay of Hawley; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brothers Jim Hudson and Don Hudson.
The family thanks Mary Leal, her longtime caregiver, for her service and friendship and also to Lighthouse Hospice for their support and kindness.

A graveside service is 1 p.m. Dec. 30 at Midway Cemetery in Hodges.
