Regina Hibler Glimp, 82, of Bertram died Nov. 4, 2010, in Burnet. She was born in Burnet County March 17, 1928, to Hunter and Mary Lou Ella Sexton Hibler.

She was the youngest of 11 children whose family roots run deep because of their ties to some of the earliest settlers of Burnet County.

Survivors include son Wayne Wilson; daughters Jan Wilson Belz and Mary Wilson Kinnibrugh; grandchildren Eddie, Shanda and Amber; great-grandchildren Ruby, Julia, Kinzie, Hunter, Hayden and Corbin; brother G.D. Hibler; and sister Novella Hibler Wiley.

She was preceded in death by husband Thomas Ruble Glimp; daughter Kaye Wilson; brothers Dayton Hibler, Doyle Hibler, Homer Hibler, Austin Hibler and Beck Hibler; and sisters Velva Hibler Proffitt, Lorene Hibler Bolt and Myrtle Mae Hibler Barho.

A visitation was Nov. 7 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444.

A service is 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Church of Christ, 102 S. Vanderveer St. in Burnet, with the Rev. Tim Denton officiating.

Interment will follow at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Bertram.

Pallbearers include Kenny Kinnibrugh, Chris Whitehead, Eddie Shell, Eddie Shell II, Justin Miller, Luke Dotson, Trey Bolt and Archie Simon.
