Juanita “Janie” Garcia
Juanita “Janie” Garcia, 50, of Granite Shoals died Oct. 15, 2010, in Austin.
Survivors include husband Fernando Garcia; daughters Ann Perez Lopez and husband Ignacio and Patricia Garcia and husband Jose DelaCruz, all of Granite Shoals, and Maria Renteria and husband Pete of Austin; sons Raoul Perez Jr. and wife Crystal and Toribio Garcia, all of Granite Shoals and Tony Perez and wife Michelle of Glen Rose; brothers Julian Ramirez and wife Carolyn of Beaumont, Juan Ramirez and wife Esther of Lovelady and Alfred Salinas and wife Sylvia of Dublin; sister Consuelo Ortiz of Lubbock; 26 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Alfredo Salinas; mother Catalina Hernandez; and brothers Frank Ramirez, Lolo Salinas and Raymond Salinas.
A rosary was recited Oct. 17 at Edgar Funeral Home, 2105 U.S. 281 in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 18 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 105 RR 1431 East with the Rev. Jairo Lopez officiating.
Interment followed in Marble Falls City Cemetery.
