Ronald R. ‘Ronnie’ Thomison
Ronald R. “ Ronnie” Thomison, 67, of Buchanan Dam died Sept. 8, 2010, at home surrounded by his family.
He was was born in Austin Jan. 10, 1943, to Herman S. and Luereen McNeely Thomison, and worked as a stonemason.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Lessie Thomison; children Terry Day and wife Karen of Troy, Randy Thomison and wife Carmen of Buchanan Dam, Ronald Thomison Jr. and wife Ashley of Tow, and Roger Thomison and wife Sophie of Brownwood; brothers the Rev. Bill Thomison and wife Barbara of Saledo, J.E. Thomison and wife Billie and Leland Thomison, all of Round Rock, and Donnie Thomison and wife Judy of Pflugerville; sister-in-law Vickie Thomison of Hutto; lifelong friend Patsy Hanna of Austin; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; children Russell Lynn Thomison and Rhonda Thomison Johnson; and sisters-in-law Earline and Mary Thomison.
At his request, his remains are being donated to science.
A service will be held at a later date.
