Louise May Everett
Louise May Everett, 89, of Liberty Hill and formerly of Bertram, died Sept. 11, 2010, in Round Rock.
She was born to Louis Benjamin and Delora May Carpenter Taylor on April 6, 1921, in Bertram.
She married Louis L. Everett Nov. 1, 1936, and they enjoyed 58 years together.
She enjoyed being a mother and homemaker, but in 1956 she decided to own and operate her own beauty shop, which she did for seven years. She then worked as a bookkeeper for the West Grid Ranch.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bertram.
Survivors include children Richard T. Everett and wife Margaret, Linda L. Cox and husband Leslie; grandsons Terry L. Everett and wife Vickie, Kirk Everett and wife Laura, Richard D. Everett and wife Terri, Everett Dale Cox and wife Kim, Glen Engel Cox and his wife Jill; great-grandchildren Brian, Teresa, Jessica and Abigail Everett and Michael and Katie Cox, and Ashley Egerton; and step-granddaughters Pam Bechtol and Kim Stokes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dec. 10, 1994; son Louis E. Everett; three brothers; and five sisters.
Services are 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444 with the Rev. Gordon Bergstrom officiating.
Interment will follow services at Bear Creek Cemetery in Bertram.
Any memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Bertram or the Wesleyn at Scenic in Georgetown.
