Thomas Dean “Tom” Cook, 65, of Marble Falls died July 18, 2010. Born June 10, 1945, in San Antonio, he was the son of M.A. and Anita (Reidsel) Cook.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Marble Falls.

He was a quarry manager at Dean Word/Capitol Aggregates and worked there 39 years. He was very active in the Highland Lakes Chili Pod and was their “Great Pepper."

His sons will always remember him as a great father and friend to many in Marble Falls.

Survivors include sons Todd Cook of Tampa, Fla., Craig Cook and wife Melissa of San Antonio and Daniel Cook and wife Rachel of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren Alexandra, Taylor, Morgan, Miranda, Austin and Harper; sister Marion Clark of Boerne and twin sister Gerry Currey of Austin; brothers Jim Cook of New Braunfels and John Cook of Pleasanton.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gayle in October 2005; parents; and sister Meta Beth Cook.

A visitation is 6-8 p.m Friday at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.

A funeral service is 10 a.m. July 24 at First Baptist Church, 501 Twelfth St. in Marble Falls, with the Rev. Max Copeland officiating.

Interment is 3 p.m. at Comal Cemetery in New Braunfels.
